  • Recommended accessories: Chawan (bowl), Chasen (whisk), Chashuku (scoop), Metal sifter

    For a perfectly smooth and lump-free tea, we recommend following these main steps:

    1. Pre-heat the chawan (bowl) and chasen (whisk) with some hot water and discard.

    2. Scoop 2 heaps of matcha using the chashuku (scoop) or 1 teaspoon.

    3. Sift the matcha* using a fine-mesh metal sifter into the chawan.

    4. Pour the water* into the chawan and whisk gently for about 30 seconds using the chasen (whisk).

    Traditional Matcha

    1 tsp, or 2g of matcha

    65 - 100 mL of water, at 75ºC

    Matcha Latte

    1 - 2 teaspoons, or 2 - 3 g of matcha

    50 mL of hot water, at 95℃

    200 mL of milk

  • Resealable bag containing 100g of matcha

  • Store in a cool and dark space. Use within 6 months of opening
